Each year we hold a special fundraising celebration at Hampton Court Palace. Guests at our Christmas Celebration are treated to an evening of fine food, music and entertainment in the magnificent setting of King Henry VIII's palace, a perfect location for the event, particularly as Henry himself was a keen tennis player and built a court at the Palace.
Our 2004 Christmas celebration at Hampton Court was our most succesfull yet, raising in excess of £100,000 for our Kids on Court Campaign. The evening was attended by a number of patrons and celebrities who kindly support our work. In addition to Foundation regulars Mike Read, Gloria Hunniford and Ainsley Harriott, we were also joined by Jasper Carrott, Sir Donald Sinden CBE, Annabel Croft, and Tennis Legend Virginia Wade OBE.
The guests who attended the evening were treated to some fine musical performances from Sir Cliff, Olivia Newton John OBE and of course, the Band of the Scots Guards, whose rousing finales have become a regular feature at the event.
