The Book of Tennis

We're always glad when a new tennis title hits the bookshops, so we were particularly pleased this month to review a copy of 'The Book of Tennis' - an interesting and unique publication from JMW Publishing.

The Book of Tennis 'The Book of Tennis' offers an entirely new slant on the sport. Chris Bowers - broadcaster, writer and traveller on the global tennis circuit - has put together a user-friendly companion for the tennis fan, the player at any level, and the person working in tennis.

The spiral-bound title is fun and easy to read, and combines a guide through the history and the current day international structure of tennis, along with a mine of useful information and contacts.  The book is peppered with off-the-wall tennis stories, great quotations, and memories of some of the greatest matches of all time.

Recommended by the International Tennis Federation, this is one of the best tennis books that we have seen for some time, and is a real must for any tennis fan, player or coach. Despite its huge wealth of content, 'The Book of Tennis' retails at just £15.

In addition to the book, the publishers have also produced 'The Book of Tennis Contacts Directory' - a new mini CD-ROM publication which is the most comprehensive worldwide contacts directory of all things tennis, including thousands of hyperlinks and email addresses for tennis websites covering:
