Bounceathon Update

In 2002, the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation joined forces with Sargent Cancer Care for Children to unveil a new initiative, the Tennis Bounceathon, a nationwide competition for children aged between 4 and 12 aimed at introducing them to tennis.

The competition is designed to get kids hitting tennis balls in a fun way, providing an introduction to the LTA's Mini Tennis programme, whilst also raising money for the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation and Sargent Cancer Care for Children.

Bounceathon has been a huge success and is being held again in 2005, however Sargent Cancer Care for Children, one of the charity's involved over the last three years with the Bounceathon, has amalgamated with another children's charity. This has meant that Sargent Cancer Care for Children can no longer participate in the Bounceathon in the current year. With further notice the following will apply to all schools and clubs wishing to take part in the Bounceathon.

  • Register
  • Download the Bounceathon Handbook
  • Organise your club/school Bounceathon
  • Money raised can either be retained by your school/club or 50% can be donated to the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation (please make all cheques payable to: - Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation) and send to Harley House, 94 Hare Lane, Claygate, Esher, Surrey, KT10 ORB

Please note that there are no prizes awarded for this year's competition (Jan 2005) or subsequent competitions until further notice.

The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation would like to wish you all a very successful Bounceathon and hope all the children continue to enjoy their tennis. To register for the Bounceathon, please visit the Bounceathon website at: www.bounceathon.org
