Tennis is a fantastic recreational sport. It gives children an interest, a chance to succeed, an opportunity to meet new friends and a healthy and active lifestyle.
Our belief is that every child should have the opportunity to play tennis, irrespective of background, colour or creed.
Established in 1991, The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation is a registered charity. Our mission is to take tennis direct to children in state primary schools, encouraging as many children as possible to develop an interest in the game.

Through our Tennis Trail over 200,000 children have been introduced to tennis and each year the Trail visits some 200 schools, reaching a further 30,000 children. We provide primary schools, across the UK, with free equipment and follow-on coaching.
With our fundraising campaign, 'Kids on Court', we aim to take tennis to even more children, with new initiatives being launched later this year which wil make tennis accessible to everyone.

In addition to the Trail, we run a number of other activities including Trailblazers and Assessment Days. These are designed to identify and nurture young tennis talent, providing youngsters with funding and coaching so that they can develop their skills. We already have 35 children playing at regional and even national level, all being helped with their tennis development through the Foundation.

It has also been designed to provide youngsters with a fun and informative introduction to the sport, including tips on how to get into tennis and a special Kidzone, filled with fun for younger visitors.
