The Tennis Trail Team

The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation is run and administered by a small team who are also responsible for organising the charitiy's other activities such as fundraising campaigns. Here you can meet the key members of the team.


Sue Mappin
Sue has her own specialist sports consultancy, SMC and is Director of the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation. Sue's whole life has been spent in tennis and she has represented her country on numerous occasions, competing in all of the Grand Slam tournaments. Mary Loughran
Mary is Assistant to Sue Mappin, working for SMC and has a long history in tennis, formerly working for The Lawn Tennis Association. Mary has been involved with the creation and development of the charity's projects and more recently has co-ordinated the special PR and Fundraising events as part of the 'Kids on Court' Campaign.

Paul Regan
Paul is the Head Coach and Co-Ordinator of the Tennis Trail and spends much of his life on the road, visiting the Trail venues. Formerly the Tennis Director of the Carnaervon Tennis Centre, Paul joined the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation in 1995 and has been instrumental in the success of the Tennis Trail.

Jean Lamas
Jean is Secretary to the Tennis Foundation and spends much of her time working on the adminministration necessary to keep the Tennis Trail on the road.

Jenny Lloyd
Jenny joined The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation in 2000, having previously worked with The Lawn Tennis Association. Jenny supports the team, working on key projects such as PR and Fundraising events.

Vivienne Smith
Vivienne works part-time with the Tennis Foundation and is Secretary and Research Analyst, analysing all school and trail venue research.
