The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation runs a number of activities, the biggest is the Tennis Trail which introduces the game to children in state primary schools across the UK.

We provide tennis coaching, equipment and on-going guidance for pupils and teachers, often in towns, cities and remote rural areas where children might not have the chance to try and play the sport.
The coaches on the Tennis Trail are also talent scouts. If they spot a child with athletic ability and an eagerness to learn, they are invited to join our special tennis squads in their area.

Children who then make quick and consistent progress are given individual coaching and grants, becoming Cliff Richard Trailblazers

In addition to the patronage of Sir Cliff, our charity benefits from the involvement of a number of other tennis celebrities including Sue Barker, President of the Kids on Court Campaign, and Greg Rusedski who is our ambassador. It is important to remember that the Tennis Foundation is a registered charity. We are entirely dependent on funds from generous sponsors and donors and of course, the others who willingly give their time and energies to supporting our activities.

This year, with the support of so many committed people, we hope to achieve more than ever before. Our aim is to take tennis into every state primary school in the country. Like our star ambassador, Greg Rusedski - we are aiming high!
