Acorn Don Swagger tennis game announced for Switch uses Genvid interactive streaming engine

Japanese publisher Heart technology To announcement Don swagger, an action game for Switch powered by Genvid TechnologiesGenvid interactive streaming engine. It will launch this summer in Japan and will support up to four players in online multiplayer.

Don swagger features character design by Disaster report developer Granzella, and character voices based on the text-to-speech application Voiceroid developed by AH-Software. The Genvid interactive streaming engine will allow viewers on streaming platforms such as Twitch to participate in the game by cheering on or gifting players with special items.

Here’s a look at the game, via Hearts Technology:

Don swagger is an action game where you use various objects to shoot the massive number of acorns falling from the opponent’s side. The court is divided in the center like a tennis court, with the near side being your team’s side of the court and the back side being the opposing team’s side of the court. Acorns burst and open for a while after falling on the field, so the goal is to shoot them into the opponent’s side of the field before that happens. The player (or team) who shoots and pops the most acorns on the opponent’s side within the time limit wins.

There are four types of interactions that viewers on streaming platforms such as Twitch can perform while watching a game. First, collect the “Don Points” that appear in the game by clicking on them with the mouse. Don Points collected by spectators can be used to cheer on characters, send items into the game, send effects into the game, and switch between the two types of cameras.

Beginners can enjoy the simple back and forth shooting of acorns, while experienced players can have fun aiming and shooting the acorns. And spectators can participate in the game by acting as a support. Whether he is a player or a spectator, Don swagger is a game that you can watch with anyone, be it your family, friends, or someone you’ve never met who’s also watching.
