Portable Document Format (PDF) The Tennis Foundation Newsletters are offered as PDF files. PDF is a useful electronic medium used as a standard to transmit large pictorial documents. Streaming Real Media (RM) The sound and video clips are available as Real Media files. Although these are of lower quality than other formats, they can be 'streamed' directly into your web browser without waiting for a file download. To play Real Media Clips you need to have the Real Player. This can be downloaded free from the Real Networks website by clicking on the logo. Visitors should note that Real.com encourage all users to download The Real Player Plus - which retails at $29.95. This is not necessary and at the bottom of the page where this link directs you to you will find a link to download the basic free player. The Real Player also supports MP3 sound files.

Quicktime Movies (MOV)
For those who do not have or prefer not to use Real Media, the clips are also available as Quicktime files. These have to downloaded for off-line viewing, but offer higher quality video images. To play MOV files you must have the Apple Quicktime Player which can be downloaded free from the Apple site by clicking on the logo.

Windows Media Files (AVI)
Video clips are also provided in AVI format. These are the largest files and will take longer to download, but can be played on the standard Microsoft Windows Media Player. To get the latest version of the player, click on the logo. The Windows Media Player also supports MP3 sound files.
