Matthew Nixon

Matthew started playing tennis at Middle School when the Tennis Trail came to his area. His first experience of tennis fired his imagination and he immediately joined his local sports and leisure centre, where he is now training to become aa qualified tennis coach.

"Tennis has made a huge difference to my life and given me a real goal to work towards. I practically live for tennis every day of the week. Although I tried my best, I wasn't always good at school academically. But with tennis I feel at home and this has given me a chance in life to do something positive"
