The Cliff Richard Tennis Classic

This year, we've decided to make some changes to the Pro-Celebrity Event. Cliff decided that the original format was getting a little tired and asked us to inject some new life into the show.

For those of you who hate change, rest easy. All of the most important ingredients - Cliff, tennis, celebrities and singing were still there, but this year there was a new and exciting format.

In the first instance, as you've no doubt noticed , the event was called the Cliff Richard Tennis Classic. The Tennis Classic featured two teams. who competed in a series of eight quick-fire singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches, offering some truly exciting tennis action.

Cliff was the Captain of a team of Tennis Legends and comedian Alistair McGowan Captained the other. Interspersed with the tennis was music, special entertainment, a raffle prize draw, carols and popular songs. All the excitement and entertainment that you've come to expect from this very special event, plus a few surprises!
