In December 2003 we held our 21st pro-celebrity tennis tournament. With its exciting mix of tennis action, comedy, music entertainment, The Cliff Richard Tennis Classic has become an essential diary date for thousands of fans.

As always we were joined by some serious tennis talent, including Nathalie Tauziat (Wimbledon finalist in 1998) , former British Number 1 Sam Smith, and Annabel Croft, who made a return appearance this year. We were also joined by Former British Number 1 Chris Wilkinson, and Olympic Champion and world record holder for the triple jump, Jonathan Edwards CBE. With such a fine array of top sporting stars, we were guaranteed an exiting evening

Cliff's Tennis Classic is always a star-studded event and this year our celebrity players included John Lodge, singer and songwriter for the Moody Blues, and comedian Jasper Carrott OBE who led the oppositition team in a valiant attempt to wrestle the champion's crown from Captain Cliff. (unsuccessfully we might add!)

Amici Forever, the world's first opera band, provided some stunning musical entertainment and the evening was rounded off in spectatcular style with Sir Cliff's Christmas performance featuring the Birmigham Salvation Army Band. Another truly memorable event, leaving everyone looking forward to next year.
